Mountaineering: How to Climb a 14er

Colorado is home to some of the tallest peaks in the nation. We want you to help you bag as many as you can! Join co-owner and Axistence Outdoor Instructor, Dan Jimenez for a 60 min class discussing:

* Training for Climbs
* Hydration / Food
* Safety
- Thunderstorms
- Dehydration & Heat Exhaustion
- Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS / HACE / HAPE)
- Hidden Dangers
* How to Tackle the Hike
* Local Spots
* Tips to Make Life Easier

Our goal is to give you the education and confidence necessary to enjoy your first or 50th experience tackling one of Colorado's 54 14er peaks. In addition - by attending this clinic you become eligible to participate in our upcoming 14'er Adventure in August! Axistence Athletics will be organizing a 14'er trip to help you and others get out and experience the wonders of the Colorado backcountry. (Details on the outing to be provided at the clinic)
